What is the Jot Touch with Pixelpoint

The Jot Touch with Pixelpoint is a pressure sensitive stylus for iPad. It’s the newest in our line of Jot Touch styluses built for digital artists, and features a 1.9mm tip powered by Adonit’s Pixelpoint technology.

What devices will the Touch work with?

The Jot Touch with Pixelpoint will work just like your finger on any capacitive touchscreen device. However, features like pressure sensitivity, palm-rejection and others require an iOS device with Bluetooth 4 such as iPad 3, 4, Air, Mini, and Mini Retina.

What has changed from the earlier version of the Jot Touch?

The biggest difference when comparing the Jot Touch with Pixelpoint to previous versions is the 1.9mm discless tip. The new tip utilizes Pixelpoint technology and an improved antenna to bring a whole new level of precision to the stylus. In addition to general functionality and design improvements, the Jot Touch with Pixelpoint is the first third-party stylus that is Adobe Creative Cloud connected.

What is Pixelpoint technology?

Pixelpoint technology is the stylus engine that drives the Jot line. The innovative technology works with Bluetooth LE, accelerometer data and your iPad’s capacitive screen to seamlessly place the ink point directly under the stylus tip. It’s what allows Adonit to create discless styluses that guarantee precision in every line, letter and signature.
