Can I use my smartphone while it’s charging?
Yes, you can use your smartphone while it’s charging. Try it out when video calling, watching movies or checking recipes in the kitchen all while charging.
What does the LED light indicate on the Wireless Fast Charging Stand?
Green breathing light: Indicates your device is actively charging when on the wireless charging zone.
Green flashing light: Indicates your device is not properly charging.
Please re-plug the USB cable, remove all foreign objects between your smartphone and wireless charging pad (ex. metal/coin/metallic foreign body), and adjust the smartphone to the wireless charging pad in the appropriate location.
How do I enable fast charging on my Wireless Fast Charging Stand?
To enable fast charging, please use the included Adonit Wireless Fast Charging Adapter. If you choose to use a different adapter, please make sure the AC adapter has a minimum output of 2A and supports QC2.0 or above.
Can I use a different USB cable instead of the cable that comes with Wireless Fast Charging Stand?
Different cables may have different performances. To ensure the charging speed, we strongly recommend using the included cable to charge. Cables longer than one meter may also reduce the charging efficiency.
At what speed will my smartphone charge?
iPhone 8/ 8 plus/ X /Xs/Xs max/XR will charge at 7.5W speed with a QC 2.0/3.0/4.0 adapter. Only 10W Qi specific Android devices with a QC 2.0/3.9/4.0 adapter will charge up to 10W speed. If your device does not support fast wireless charging, the Adonit Wireless Fast Charging Stand will provide up to 5W for safe standard wireless charging speeds.
How can I troubleshoot if my device is not charging on the Wireless Fast Charging Stand?
- Check if the charging cable has been plugged in properly to the Wireless Fast Charging Stand and adapter by replugging.
- Place your smartphone in the center position of the Wireless Fast Charging Stand.
- Remove foreign objects between your phone and the Wireless Fast Charging Stand. Wireless charging uses magnetic induction to charge your smartphone. (Don’t place anything between your phone and the charger. Magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, or other objects between your phone and the charger may reduce performance or damage magnetic strips or RFID chips like those found in some credit cards, security badges, passports, and key fobs. If your case holds any of these sensitive items, please remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your phone and the charger.)
- Remove thick phone cases or cases containing metal objects as they may prevent charging. A smartphone with a thin case/cover less than 4 mm in thickness will still work with the wireless charging stand.
